First Annual Metawe kîsikâw event
1st Annual Metawe kîsikâw
Metawe kîsikâw, which translates to “Play Day” in Cree, is being celebrated for the first time by the Red Earth Cree Nation this year. The goal of the two-day land-based family activities known as Metawe kîsikâw is to bring together all of the children, youth, and families in the area.
The Creeland Dancers are a wonderful addition to our entertainment lineup.
Mamawe Hall will provide free cultural food, and there will also be a canteen on site where you can buy meals.
Join us for a day of fun and games, and we hope to see you there!
